Here comes the sun Welcome it with open arms and open minds Waves crashing all around bringing me peace and warmth and light Taking chances, wide-eyed and hopeful Taking you hand, embrace and never ignore you again Silence is beautiful Only if you know how Bringing joy A tear and a smile to my face Taking chances, wide-eyed and hopeful Taking you hand, embrace and never ignore you again So I embrace the beauty the silence and the power of alone But I know now that I am in the right place to let you in and let you take over my soul Let you take over my soul Let you take over my soul Taking chances, wide-eyed and hopeful Taking you hand, embrace and never ignore you again Here comes the sun Here it comes

Push outside through the window Find yourself and let your spirit go Don't wanna be forgotten don't wanna be left alone Find yourself a new heart Maybe one without so many holes So than you can recognize How the love should flow And if you are my reflection I've got no chance at all And if you wanted my protection well baby Just keep on standing strong So than if you are transparent How can your blinded eyes find the cure I tried so hard to work it out in this life Too bad you don't know whats in store And so you say your my reflection Well I've got no chance at all And if you wanted my protection well baby Just keep on standing strong Push outside through the window Find yourself and let your spirit go Don't wanna be forgotten Don't wanna be left alone Find yourself a new heart Maybe one without so many holes So than you can recognize How the love should flow This is me channeling you Letting you do the best that you can do When that smile is gone I'll be moving on This is me not channeling you This is me not channeling you

Your eyes will see the words That your lips cannot express Time will tell you everything And it's more than you expect I wish to god there's something I can do Only if you know home Only if you know home Oh won't you Please know home I see the frown upon your face Those tears make lines no man could trace I wish you'd answer when I call Or be there to catch me when I fall Won't you please know home Oh won't you please know home Oh won't you please know home Oh won't you Please know home I stand there knocking hard Just hoping you would call my name I'm waiting for you to come to me So then you would know home I stand there knocking hard Just hoping you would call my name I'm waiting for you to come to me So then you would know home So then you would know home So then you would know home

The Journey 05:09
"I really don't know why it is that all of us are so committed to the sea. I think it's because in addition to the fact that the sea changes, and the light changes and ships change. It's because we all came from the sea. And it is an interesting biological fact that all of us have in our veins the exact same percentage of salt that exists in the ocean. and therefore we have salt in our blood, in our sweat, in our tears, we are tied to the ocean." Remarks at the Dinner for the America's Cup Crews, September 14 1962 ― John F. Kennedy "The impact of this invention on the minds of men everywhere who are attempting to make a determination of which road they should take. We choose to go to the moon, not because it is easy but because it is hard. We examined where we are strong and where we are not. Where we may succeed and where we may not. It's time for this nation to take a clearly leading role in space achievement. It may hold the key to our future on earth. Because that challenge is one that we are willing to accept one we are unwilling to postpone and one we are willing to win. We go into space." Rice Stadium, September 12, 1962 ― John F. Kennedy

Emily's Song 08:32
I've never felt so much love in one place, ever. The place between both here and now The place where there is warmth and embrace Goodnight What a necessary thing to have in life is the love a friend It makes you feel invincible It makes you feel like nothing else matters Goodnight Even though the sun begins to rise Picture me with telescope eyes Even though the sun begins to rise Picture me with telescope eyes Goodnight Picture me with morning light Goodnight Picture me with morning light Goodnight

about

Sea And Space invites you to join them on “The Journey”. Written and recorded in 2013 and 2014, it is a slick, polished and concise expression of the bands formation and intentions. Using a fabric layering technique the album’s singles become a conceptual voyage tied together by segues of sound effects, musical interludes, and speeches that complete their story. Heard from beginning to end, the listener is lead through a whole movement of dynamic songs and sounds that focus on the negative space of the instruments and vocals, as the band uses the burgeoning tension to build musical climaxes over and over again.

The instrumentation of the album is synthesizer laden, switching from classical piano to dirty organ sounds and everything otherworldly in between. Acoustic guitars juxtapose with their organic clean sounds, cutting through with their own voices creating melodic rhythms and feature parts.

Drums and bass are the tight fabric that supports the many layers of this electronic and acoustic combination. The bass is solid, fat, and round in tone. The parts are streamlined with simplicity, always ready to highlight a feature and engage the listener with an unpredictable run. Drums stay tight and minimal until the burst is necessary, using both electronic and acoustic drums elements to minimize sustain and maximize projection when called on.

Navigating time signatures and musical textures seamlessly the four instruments and their parts provide the body, while the story of “The Journey” is conducted by the vocal rhythms and melodies that are integral to the express the emotion of each song.

Whether a single voice or a choir of harmonies they tell the story that the listener wants to hear. The voice is sweet but certain and the lyrics - open to interpretation.

The band formed at Sunny Pine Studios. The members “Journey” into becoming Sea and Space merge the rich musical backgrounds of each individual to the personal stories of their relationships with each other over the span of many years. Finally intersecting in January of 2013 through inspiration and the common goal they share.
